The Art Makers

Movies have cool trailers and I thought, why not my book––The Granite Letter?! Soooo, I reach out to artists to create. I send them words from the book, and they run off and make art!

 

The images are intended to evoke rather than depict. (You can read more about my collaboration with artists here.) While I am primarily connecting with outsider artists (self-taught, if you’re unfamiliar), some collaborators are formally trained, most are just starting out. All are awesome. The intention is to provide exposure to these skilled and unique artists (plus, a cool trailer for my book –– The Granite Letter). Wherever you see an attribution to an artist, the link will take you to their Instagram site. Have the fun.
